Looking for the answer to another persons problem with his jeep. They stated that it would not start when cold until the relays clicked. It seem like it does take longer when cold, but also happens when it is warm. I wanted to know if it was the computer.

The chatter is the relays coming to life so to speak when the key is turned on and power is distributed. One relay is going to the fuel pump and allowing it to run the initial few seconds that pressurises the fuel system. Have them check the fuel pressure and see what it is reading. Also do this with just the key turned on and also take note of it when it is running. Then turn the key off and moniter the fuel pressure, it will drop a little but the regulator should hold pressure at the gauge, whatch to see if it slowly bleeds off. Get back to us and let us know what you find out and sorry you did not get an answer earlier. Thanks Curt
