2000 Jeep Wrangler Low idle and stalling

My jeep has had a low idle and stalls when stopped for too long. Sometimes it will not start and I have to rev the engine in order to get it started and as long as I keep the idle high enough it runs fine. I have brought it to a mechanic and they found nothing. Any advice?
