Very recently I noticed the air from my ac/heater vent go from cool to hot when the setting is on heat. I had the radiator & water pump changed in 2003. Could it be the thermostat and if so where is it located.

Cheap fix replace the thermostat-follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator to the engine. When you get to the end of the hose, that is the thermostat housing. Remove it and the thermostat will be in there.
