1993 Jeep Wrangler High oil Pressure

I have a 93 Jeep Wrangler 4 cyl., 2.5 liter engine & 183000 miles. Whenever I go past 30 - 40 mph the oil pressure gauge gets burried to 80 psi and causes oil to shoot out of the dipstick like a gizzer. When the enigine is idling or going under 30 mph it is fine. Could it be the oil pressure relief valve? How would I know if it is? Could it be something worse?

Check the oil pressure with an oil pressure tester-if its still high-remove the oil pump and check the pressure relief valve
