My dughter has a 2005 Jeep Liberty 4X4 with about 33000 miles on it and managed to get it stuck in some mud and one side into a ditch of water. Whe ended up with about and inch of water in her car onthe passenger side. The car dealership said she should have the front and rear differentials checked as well as the transfer case as they could have gotten water into them. Is that a possibility or are they just trying to get her to pay for more service.

Aside from what happened, it would be good to change the fluids regardless at that miliage. I think it is a good idea.
