The engine problem surfaced on January 29, 2008 when the check oil light came on, in addition, we noticed the oil pressure was low. The problem was diagnosed by the dealership with failed main engine bearings, which require replacing the crankshaft as well. The cost is about a $1900-$2400 repair which requires tearing down the engine.
