Shakes or Wobbles problem

When I go to start my car, the brake pedal is stiff. Car doesn't seem to be able to engage the next gear. RPMs run high with no quick acceleration. Won't go over 40 without wheel shaking. At stops or red lights, car doesn't idle at stops or red lights.
