Squealing when turning wheel

We have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo - 49,000 miles, 3.0 Liter V6. When it warms up after driving a few miles, when the wheel is turned it make a very bad squealing sound. The power steering pump has been replaced and it still does it. Mechanics are stumped. It squeals more when you are turning left than right. Ideas?

Does it squeal like a belt slipping?

No - it doesn't sound like a belt slipping. They have checked all the belts and all fluids.
