Hi guys, Im so happy to have come across your site because my car needs some real help. So heres the deal, at first my car would stall out once in awhile while idling, so I ignored it because it would turn back on and be fine. Then things got more serious, it stalls now when its idling and even when I'm going at highway speeds. The engine doesn't immediately cut out, but feels sluggish and sometimes I can save it by pumping the gas. Now it also backfires at whatever speed it feels appropriate, and chugges at highway speeds. I've already replaced the ignition coil, and have tried to put a lot of fuel injector cleaner into it, but its progressively getting worse, as now when its hott and it stalls it will not turn on again for awhile . Oh yeah, and all these problems get worse the longer I let the car run, if you could help me I'd appreciate it very much. Thanks!

Two things I would recommend on these engines. One is a professional fuel injection cleaning and two a air induction service to clean the intake valves and throttle body.

Getting the codes would be helpful.
