I have a 1995 jeep grand cherokee laredo, 4.0 inline 6.I get very little heat from the heater.I have had thermostat replaced, and new radiator 2 years ago.I would replace the heater core but don't know how to get it out. Please help?

Hi there,

I would flow test the heater core first, it may be blocked and a flush might do the job, also I would make sure the heater tap is opening all the way, you may be selecting hot on the dash and the valve is not opening fully.

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
