1995 Jeep Laredo temperture sensor

My 1995 jeep got hot. It turns over but wont start. I am not geting a regular spark to the spark plugs. Could it be the temperture sensor went bad

If it overheated too badly, you could have caused internal damage to it. If you know that you did not cause internal damage and are just having a problem with your spark now, then the first thing to check and make sure is that the spark issue is happening to all of your cylinders. If it is happening to all of them, try checking to see if your coil is bad. If not, then check and make sure that your plug wires are not faulty as well as your spark plugs for any damage because heat will cause a lot of things to fail. Check the above first and let us know if you need further assistence.
