I have two questions. First my jeep is not cooling properly. I have flushed, replaced theromstat, replaced sensor in the front near the theromstat. If I drive with the heat on it is fine. What could be wrong? Second my dash lights, front & back marker lights have gone out. When I pull the headlight switch out 1/2 way they blink on and off but go totally off when the switch is fully out and the head lights are on? What could be the problem here? Thanks.

Has the radiator been cleaned by itself? It may have excessive scale deposits or even rusting on the inside. Have you done any engine work lately? You might have a hot spot on the block (heavy carbon deposits in the cylinders) or even the head gasket could be in need of replacement. The headlight switch is most likely bad, tarnished copper contacts inside or just corrosion and dirt. Check all conections and grounds first and then replace your switch.
