1979 Jeep J10 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic
My transmission will not shift above 2nd gear. It will shift into 2nd but the RPM's will just keep climbing after it shifts into 2nd. What is wrong and how do I fix it?

it souns like yoru trans is toast. it will need a rebuild from the sound of it a trans pro should be able to properly diagnose it.
