2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee park assist fault
Electrical problem
2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 49100 miles
On the EVIS the message "SERVICE PARK ASSIST" keeps coming on. When I engage forward or reverse gears two red lights on the parking sensor cluster on the dash and in the rear come on with a siren noise. Once or twice when I have pulled away there is a lack of power and I have shifted into neutral and then back into gear and the power returns. The on/off switch indicator light is on permanently for the park assist system even when I try to switch it off. And the park assist is not working at all when I approach any kind of obsticle. Can you please let me know what could be the problem as I have had two diffrent diagnostic answers.
