1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee immobiliser
Transmission problem
1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic
Hi,
I bought a 1997 Jeep Grand cherokee, it's an automatic 4ltr
It worked fine yesterday, however today I seem to be having a little trouble starting it, the main issue that I am having is that the unlock button is not working on the remote, it opens the doors and controls the immobiliser, it worked at first, (today) to unlock the car, but by the time I had the dog in the back and sat down to start the car, put the key in turned it to the off position and pressed the unlock button again, .... nothing.
I have even tried taking the battery off to try to reset it but the alarm sounds as soon as I do.
Any ideas?
