OIL PRESURE

1984 Jeep CJ7

Engine problem
1984 Jeep CJ7 Four Wheel Drive Manual unknow miles

the oil presure in my jeep when warm is 10psi wit 20w50. And no matter what i've done lately the dang lifter won't quit clackin. I've just rebuilt the head and put all new extremities on the motor and a new cam wit all new lifters. I know the oil pump is bad because the weather her in hawaii calls for 10w30 if I do that i'm running 5psi at 500 rpms when I should be running 40psi at 2000 so I want to switch to a high volume oil pump might as well go big if I got to go at all right but they don't sell a larger oil pan. Will the oil pan go dry if I switch to a high volume oil pump or will I be safe. I figured if they don't sell it maybe I won't need it right but a couple of my other mech buddies tell me I need to weld wings on my oil pan. YES NO?
