I do not understand something. I have a 1991 Jeep Cherokee. We put in a new motor it seems to be working pretty good. Now when we took it on the road the transmission works fine until we put it in 4 wheel high. When we do that it feels like the transmission is wanting to come up through the floor board. And when we put it in 4 wheel low it seems like it wants to change gears or slip out of 4 wheel low. Can anyone help me with this one??

First of all, your not stupid. Stupid as well as crazy people don't know they are, it they did they wouldn't need help. With that said. Was it a new engine or used one? Sometimes it is easier to change an engine with trans than to remove the engine from the trans. What it sounds like is that trans or transfer case isn't bolted down good. As I always say. If you have a warrenty take it back. If no warrenty, take it back anyway.
