My wife has a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, 148K, V-6. She went to start it the other day and it didn't even try to crank. I have read a lot of the other "won't start" questions, but at least their's try to crank. Her's doesn't even turn over. I'm not to familiar with Jeeps, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

we just bought the car and the battery looks brand new. i tried the shifter and it didn't work. A friend was talking about some type of crankshaft sensor or something. I really would like to try to get out of this as cheap as possible. i don't want to randomly replace things! thanks for everything!

CRANKSHAFT SENSOR WILL NOT CAUSE NO TURN OVER ENGINE WILL TURN BUT NO START AND NO SPARK
ONLY BATTERY STARTER OR WHATS IN BETWEEN LIKE SWITCHS AND RELAY
DID YOU TRY JUMPING THE BAT
LOOKS NEW DOEST ALWAYS MEENS ITS GOOD ON THE INSIDE
CHECK BAT TERMINALS OR THE STARTER WIRES FOR LOOSE
IF BAT GOOD AND FULLY CHARGED YOU CAN TRY TO JUMP THE STARTER AND SEE IF IT TRY TO START !!!!! MAKE SURE E BRAKE IS ON AND THE KEY IS OUT OF THE IGNITION WHEN YOU TRY TO JUMP THE START !!
GOOD LUCK LET ME KNOW
