1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, 148,000 miles, 4.0 engine. What makes the blower for the air go to defroster anytime you get in a strain (i.e., giving it gas, going up a hill)? It doesn't matter where you position the control swith, it constantly goes to the defroster. It does this using the heater or air conditioner.
