After an oil change 3 months ago my oil pressure went to 80 + psi I changed the oil this weekend hoping it was sludge or something. The car seems to be running fine but the pressure gauge is buried. Any ideas?

Pressure relief valve is probably stuck...normal pressure at greater than 600 RPM is 37-75 PSI.
Pressure relief occurs at 75 PSI

Use a test gauge screwed into the oil sending unit hole to check! If pressure is OK replace sending unit, if not OK replace pump!
