Console Brake Light stays on when the ignition is on. Replaced the Hand Brake Switch without any change. Replaced the brake light bulbs with no change. Brake Fliud reservoir is full. ABS console is also on. Code identified the left rear ABS sensor which I replaced. ABS console light remains on.

As I stated in my initial message, the Brake Fluid Reservoir is full and the Left Rear ABS sensor was replaced. My Scan Tool code identifies the Left Rear Sensor again. I have a solid Brake pedal. Why does the console brake light stay on?

Jack O:
Very sorry if I came across in a rude manner. Just frustrated with these problems. Gone to two shops and spent over $185 for their so-called analysis. Hand Brake switch and left rear ABS sensor replacements. Told the console lights would turn off after several ignition cycles. Now told I it must be the ABS Control unit ($$$). I'll try replacing the Brake Fluid reservoir sensor. Thank You
