1999 Jeep Cherokee Dual Climate Control
Heater problem
1999 Jeep Cherokee Four Wheel Drive
Have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It has dual climate control. When I turn up the thermostat for some heat, I only get heat on the passenger side. Only cold air comes out the driver side. I replaced the heater control unit with one from the junk yard. It does the same thing. Does anybody have an ideal what the problem is?
A dealership that I called said that it might be the blend door and that I would need to pull the dash to repair that. Also, how hard is it for the backyard mechanic to pull the dash. I'm unemployed and can not afford to take it to a dealer. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
