My was sitting at a light when her jeep suddenly stopped running the fuel gauge said it was out of fuel but she had just put 10 gallons in the night before so she thought someone had siphoned it out so she put more fuel in it and it still says empty and wont start so I replaced the fuel pump sending unit since it had no fuel pressure and thats not the problem so I took the top off the fuel relay and it is not engaging when the key is turned on all the fuses are good and the relay is new and it has about 7 gallons of gas but still says empty I am truely stumped on this one Thanks for any help you can give me

The computer might not be grounding the fuel pump relay to transfer power to the fuel pump

How to you check where the ground is? I have read that the O2 sensor is the ground for the computer and the wires may have been shorted out but I have no wiring Diagram to see what wire or pin connector it may be. Thanks for the help
