2000 Jaguar XK8 seat belt warning light

2000 Jaguar XK8 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 30000 miles
The seat belt warning light has decided to stay on when the belt is in use. Not had the car long and it seems good other than that. I hope this is just a lovers tiff.

the switch inside the clip is faulty .. you need to replace the full buckle clip
