1989 Jaguar XJS Wont Go into Drive
Transmission problem
1989 Jaguar XJS 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 86000 miles
I have an '89 jaguar XJS that originally had a V12 but I had the egine replaced with a Jaguar 6 cylinder about two years ago. It has been running fine though in the last 9 months I haven't been driving it much. Two weeks ago I started it up and moved it about thirty feet to another place in my driveway. When I went to move it back a week later it would start but I couldn't get it out of Park. It won't go into Drive or Reverse. It acts just like it does when the engine hasn't been started up. Any suggestions?
