2000 Jaguar XJ8
a message comes up on my dash that reads failsafe engine mode and the engine to the left is lit up but my car drives fine. why is the message coming up. thanks, mike

hello, this message could be for many reasons. you should have the codes read at a parts store. and let me know what codes come up i will be able to help further at that point thanks.
