Transmission problem
1996 Jaguar XJ6 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 75653 miles
hi,
The engine light came on suddenly and my mechnic said these codes are related to engine speed input circuit no signal how can I fix this problems.

Hi there,
According to a long time Jag tech, these codes go hand in hand, one will trigger the other, he says that it will be anything that causes the engine to stall, (has this been a problem) often a faulty EGR valve, but also been linked to a fault in the main loom, look for tune related issues, but if in doubt this should be looked at by a Jag tech as it can get very tricky to track down.
