1995 Jaguar XJ6 when over 50mph it jerks and viberates
Engine Performance problem
1995 Jaguar XJ6 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 76000 miles
I took my car into the mechanic because it felt like it was draging not driving smoothly. I thouht it might need a tune up. The mechanic replaced the catalitic coverter ( $936.00). When I got it back it was worst than before I brought it to the mechanic. It came back jumping, viberating. So, the mechanic took it back and put a gas solution and said to drive it long distance so the gas would clean out. I drove it highway and when I went over 50 mph it stutered, made a thumping noise and felt as if it was going to stall and the engine was going to fall out.
Please help me before I go to another mechanic.
