2006 Jaguar X-Type wont start

Engine Mechanical problem
2006 Jaguar X-Type 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I recently wrecked my x. he repair included strut, knuckle, lower a frame, , caliper, outer tire rod, and cv axle. Next I need to have the body damage repaired which is mainly the fender and door. Although I didn't do any damage to anything under the hood, not even the radiator, I can't get the car started. Ive replaced the battery but when I turn he key, I get nothing. All dash light come on and the gas guage registers but thats all. In addition, the gear box is locked in the P position. I was thinking it may have something to do with the antitheft system but not sure. please help.

Have you checked fuses under the hood? Also, if they are good, have you checked the ignition switch itself? Finally, as far as the park issue, this may sound stupid but are the brake lights working?
