2005 Jaguar X-Type BATTERY LIGHT
Electrical problem
2005 Jaguar X-Type 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 89000 miles
Battery light came on two time in the last 10 days
so i brought the altinator to get rebuilt but there was nothing wrong with it so i drove for a few more days and the light came on i stoped at my mechanics and put the meter on and its charging at 14.5 v could it be a weak battery that cases that to happen?

keep a check on the alternator .. maybe it is getting worn and charging correctly some of the time and not others .. also check for worn/damaged alternator wiring
