2004 Jaguar X-Type Unable to remove spent pads on rear whee
Brakes problem
2004 Jaguar X-Type Four Wheel Drive Automatic
I am replacing the the rear brake pads. Because the disk is slightly worn, it has formed a ridge.
I am unable to force the piston back far enough to get the pads past this ridge.
It seems to me that the compression tool is only of use once the pads have been removed.
