2002 Jaguar X-Type 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 88000 miles
Hi,
This is my first Jaguar and I need some help. I can hear the trans unlock when I step on the brake even when it's in "D" already. I know it's suppose to do that when it's in "P", but why is it doing that when it's in "D"?

The only repair is a new J-gate (shifter assembly).
