2004 Jaguar S-Type overheating

Engine Cooling problem
2004 Jaguar S-Type V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 70000 miles

Car overheats when driving on the highway. Fluid level is good, i can turn the heater on and cool the engine down. ?? never had this problem until I got behind a trailer hauling leaves that were blowing immensley. After this happened I noticed my temp going up. do not know if this is a coincidence or not.

did you check grille to ensure its not closed off by leaves restricting air flow to radiator? also make sure the radiator fan(s) are coming on.

Did you ever get your overheating problem resolved? I have a similar problem. My 2001 s-type overheats, but I can drive the vehicle forever without overheating as long as I have the heater on!!!!????
