2002 Jaguar S-Type engine warning code P1388

My car gave is showing the engine light on and when check with auto zone for trouble code they came out with code P1388. Need to find out what the code is and estimate cost of repair

That code is for "Variable cam timing over-retarded bank B"
There is a bit of a procedure to follow to find the exact problem with the vehicle, so cost would be very difficult to estimate without having been troubleshot first. Could be anything from the PCM (computer) to the wiring or the actual Variable cam solenoid itself.I would suggest finding a shop that is knowledgeable on Jags to take a look at it.
