2001 Isuzu Vehicross fuel smell

2001 Isuzu Vehicross 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 103k miles
Hey 2 guys,
I have a 2001 Isuzu Vehicross - love my "truck" - when I now start my vehicle and idle at lights - i get this strong smell of fuel coming in. Could this possibly be myfuel pump gasket or injectors spewing fuel? When I open the hood I don't see any fuel anywhere.
Also, the past day or so when I am at an idle it sometimes shuts off. I then have to put it in park and restart her. It's always a rough restart.
Just thought i'd ask a couple of questions to see if it's aquick self fix before I went to a garage.
