Living out in sunny AZ, finding out my AC doesn't blow cold when I'm driving around town. Seems to work fine while driving on freeway at higher speeds. It's not low on refrigerant and I've got plenty of air coming from the vents. One mechanic says replace compressor, one says replace heater core, another says both. Any advice for a guy getting ready to rip apart his dashboard?

Hi CBrad73, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

Have the low and high pressure check to verify if its in normal range

You might want to start by check the vacuum actuator of the air blend door, faulty low pressure cut off switch, magnetic clutch or its freezing up due to air and moisture forming ice and blocking off the orifice tube.

The a/c condenser fan is probably not working. Its an electric driven fan located between the grill and condenser (a/c radaitor) helps cool condenser especially at slow speeds. Fan may have sezied up(rusted) also check fan fuse and/or fan relay first. Isuzu replacment cost $220.00, Aftermarket from atuo zone $160.00
