QUESTION WRIST PIN

1998 Isuzu Rodeo

Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Isuzu Rodeo Question 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 100k + miles

I am having to replace a piston rod due to a burnt up bearing. I have the engine out, the oil pan off, the crank out, the intake off, one head off and the piston and rod pulled out. I cannot get the wrist pin out of the piston to change the rod. There is no retainer keeping it in. It is a 2-piece pin, and it looks like there is a third piece in between the tow pins. How do I remove/install the wrist pins?
