1995 Isuzu Rodeo Question 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

I have replaced the alternator & I have a new battery. The voltage gauge reads about 12 volts when the truck is idling. When I push the acceleator the voltage goes up to about 16 volts. When I am driving down the road the voltage gauge goes back and forth between 12 & 16 volts and affects the way the truck runs. Also if I use the A/C, power windows, headlights, etc. The voltage is pulled down below 12 volts.
