REVERSE LIGHTS AND VARIABLE IDLE 95 RODEO
1995 Isuzu Other
I have a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo manual trans with the 3.2 V6 and 105000 miles. My reverse lights come on when the car is in first or second gear but not in reverse. I'm wondering if this requires changing out the switch or if the switch is just installed incorrectly my problem is I don't know where the switch is or how to tell if it's installed correctly. The car also has the tendency to idle either low, so low the oil pressure light flickers on and off, or high, over 2000 rpm, and I can't figure out why it's doing this since the conditions for the low/high idle are not consistent it will idle low when it wants to and it will idle high when it wants to. I have tried adjusting the idle with the adjustment screw on the throttle body and it will adjust but it doesn't do any good. Please help.
