While my wife was leaving work Check Engine and Reduced Power "Idiot" light came on in her 2003 Isuzu Rodeo and coasted to a stop. The engine kept running but the lights stayed on. She shut the engine off, and then restarted... now the only light illuminated was the Check Engine light. Not having an engine analyzer is there anything that can be done to reset the computer to see if the FAULT goes away? I can only assume that if you disconnect the negative terminal on the battery it should reset the code(s). As for the problem, without hooking it up I would guess that the EGR or Air Sensor is going or has gone bad... what do you think?
