1999 Rodeo cracked head - ?? Should I Fix ??
Hi -
1999 Isuzu Rodeo, 2.2 L, 64K
The car overheated 9 months ago and has been sitting in the garage ever since. (Jobs have me unable to take care of it during the period of it being parked).
Took it in to the shop today, and they say it's either the head gasket, a cracked head, or a cracked block.
-What would I get if I could sell it to someone as is?
-Is it worth fixing, if it can be done correctly, "assuming there's nothing else wrong".
The engine has a tip tap sound when it's on, so I think there's more wrong than just the leak.

easiest wya to find out if its a headgasket is to perform a compression test if its low its the headgasekt or a cracked head. take it off and examine the head if nothing then replace the gasket.
