1997 Isuzu Rodeo Clutch replacement

Hello,

I recently had my clutch go out so I purchased the new clutch and installed it myself. However, at this point, when I push down on the clutch it is VERY difficult to get to the floor - almost as if there is a force pushing back at me after a certain point.

The slave cylinder is indeed moving. I am not sure if the master cylinder was bled correctly since I had that work done by a service technician.

Might you have any suggestions on what this might be?

Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance for all of your valuable time. This is a great site!

To anyone looking to change the clutch on a 1997 Isuzu Rodeo v6 2WD. This is not the standard push clutch.

It is a pull clutch - so install your components accordingly. That is where I went wrong.

I did not connect the release bearing to the clutch properly.

Tranny to come down again. Oh joy.
