1986 Isuzu Pup Wont Idle on own/ VERY ROUGH IDLE

New problem. The pup wont idle on its own. It idles VERY ROUGH and once I take my foot off the gas pedal, it dies. Please. Any ideas? Thanks so much.

I have seen a few mid 80's isuzu's do this most every time it was a rubber diaphragm in the carb. The symptoms get steadily worse like yours. Give me your email address and I will try to locate the exploded diagram and send it to you indicating the probable cause.

The rough idleing on your isuzu could be due to the fact that your carburator has been tuned down. It is a simple adjustment to make, however when you turn the idle on it back up you may get worse gas mileage.
