is where is the eng demobilizer

I installed a BOA remote car starter in my wifes 2000 chevy blazer. I am not new to the precedure and I had everything all per configured so I just had to remove the kick plate on the drivers side and pull down the harness. I was able to get everything connected and when it came time to testing the system, the vehicle started and choked. I am familiar with the keys having a secuity chip inside them but that does not exist in this case considering I can use my pure metal key i got made from the local hardware store. I can start it with the key and activate the system and it will stay running if its already started. What I am asking is, Where if there is, am immobilizer? I am going nuts!!!
