when i am driving my 1210 international truck and give it gas it starts to sputter like it isnt getting fuel if i let up on the gas it will kinda go away i have changed both fuel filters and sprayed carb cleaner on my edelbroc 4 barrel carb would it be the float in the carb or a fuel pump issue? it sometimes will die when i start it befor i get goin down the road like if i start it and go to the first stop sign then it might just die. i have the 392 v8
Sounds to me like you could have a couple of problems. I would think that you have checked for water in the fuel system, so I would suggest pulling the carb and having it rebuilt by someone who knows Holley carbs, and can preset the floats and the air and fuel mixtures for initial start up, and then set them again after it is started and warmed up. You should also check your ignition dwell and timing, and make sure you don't have any vac leaks.
