Is ultra copper gasket maker okay to use for in between the 2 halves of the intake manifold?

I've used it plenty of times. Just make sure to give it a few minutes to set up before re-assembly.

Good afternoon,

No, it is not. You use nothing but the gasket.

I attached the procedure for you of the repair.

My mistake, I assumed you meant to stick the gasket in place while you put the intake together. Never to use by itself! Pie in my face!

I'm talking about plenum itself. It splits in two inside are the tubes that go to the runners. There was no "factory" gasket. I vaguely remember something about Honda bond for this, but now I can't find anything on that. I appreciate you help. Thanks

Honda bond is what you use. It is the same a gray sealer and works great.

Do you think the copper gasket maker is a good substitute? I don't have Honda bond. But I do have a big tube of ultra copper gasket maker. I'm about 70%-30% on using it. I just wanted a professional opinion. Thanks again.
