Cam seal leak

1999 Infiniti QX 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 113000 miles
where is the cam seal in my engine. I was told i have a leak and want someone to take a look at it, but can not afford the $950 the dealership wants to charge to replace it. i have an uncle who is good with cars, but does not know where this leak is since there are no repair manuels available. I just want him to be able to tell me if this truly does need to be replaced or not!
