1992 Infiniti Q45 Cannot turn engine over

1992 Infiniti Q45 V8 All Wheel Drive Automatic 152000 miles
The car started to have problems when I would come to a stop and if I applied the break fully, it would die. If I put it in nuetral it would remain running through the portion of the stop. I went out to start it and it turned over once and then after running for approximately 30 seconds, it died. I am unable to start it at all now it it just makes a noise like it wants to start but wont. We have checked the started, fuel pump and both of those are fine. What could this be and is it common among infinities?
