1995 Infiniti J30 NO POWER DURING ACCELERATION
Engine Performance problem
1995 Infiniti J30 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 120,00 miles
I recently purchased an infiniti J30, the vehicle has no power when accelerating from a dead stop, but once it is moving it drives fine with no other problems. I was thinking it could be a restricted catalytic converter, or possible an egr valve stuck open. please help

I have a 1995 j30 also. I have the same problem but only when the car has warmed up. for the first 30 minutes it drives fine. I was told to check the mass air flow sensor.

wnb0395, Your problem is your knock sensor. Same thing happened to mine.
