1994 Infiniti J30 V6-2960cc 3.0L DOHC (VG30DE)
Knock Sensor Location
Located in the engine block valley.
Knock Sensor Connector
1.Disconnect Knock Sensor sub-harness connector.
Knock Sensor Test
2.Check continuity between terminal (a) and ground. Continuity should exist. If no continuity exists, inspect Knock Sensor sub-harness. If sub-harness is OK, replace Knock Sensor.
EGR Valve And Temperature Sensor Location
ECCS Components
Located at the back of the intake manifold, next to the firewall.
EGR Valve Test
EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION VALVE TEST:
Apply vacuum to fitting on valve. Replace valve if the diaphragm does not hold vacuum or valve spring does not lift replace valve.
